Workers' Compensation
The University and College Insurance Consortium is a non-profit workers' compensation fund. UCIC is licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry as a non-profit, self-insured trust fund that provides comprehensive workers' compensation coverage and safety/risk management services to qualified, non-profit Pennsylvania colleges, universities and preparatory schools. UCIC began in 2002 with just seven members and currently insures over twenty member schools.
