John R. Shaddock
President & CEO
John Shaddock is the founding President and CEO of the Shared Services Consortium. He also serves as the Executive Director of the University & College Insurance Consortium.
Prior to joining the SSC, John spent 16 years in healthcare management and finance. John also previously served in the U.S. Air Force. John holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Maryland, and Troy University. John is also a Certified Healthcare Executive and an Advanced Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
John is a frequent guest speaker on consortial activities at conferences such as: National Association of College & University Business Officers, Association of Governing Boards, National Association of Educational Buyers, Eastern Association of College & University Business Officers, Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities and the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities of Pennsylvania.
Angela C. Tennis
Vice President of Operations
Prior to joining the SSC, Angela spent eighteen years in the insurance industry. Her experience ranges from claims adjusting, underwriting and servicing large commercial accounts, to agency management.
Angela graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in economics, and a minor in business. Angela is also a Certified Insurance Counselor, Accredited Advisor in Insurance, a Certified Professional Insurance Woman and Certified Risk Manager. Angela is a member of the National Association of Insurance Women, and is a recent past president of the local chapter. Angela is also approved to teach continuing education required for all agents licensed by the State of Pennsylvania, and has helped certify several safety committees.
Susan M. Berry, CPA
Vice President of Finance
Prior to joining the SSC, Susan worked as Supervisor of Financial Planning for Penn National Insurance Company, and Accounting Manager at CareerCom Corporation. Susan also has experience at KPMG Peat Marwick, rising through the ranks to become a Supervising Senior.
Susan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting (cum laude), from Grove City College.
